ABOUT DR. NASANOW

I'm a Clinical Psychologist who relocated to northern Virginia from San Francisco, California. My practice, where I treat adults, couples, children and adolescents, is located in Tysons Corner.

 

I bring extensive experience to the table. In California, I was in private practice; directed a Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology Service at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco for 10 years; and worked as a psychologist in the public school system and in community mental health facilities. I also taught for many years at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Christopher Newport University, the California State University at Northridge and Alliant University. I've served on numerous Boards, including the Safe Community Coalition, California Psychological Association and California Preferred Medical Associates. I am Founder and Past-Chair of the Center for Improving Women's Lives

 

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International University, Los Angeles, CA; an M.A.in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York City, NY; and my  B.A. in Psychology from City College of the City University of New York, New York City, NY.
